Weekend Escapes Holidays & Events
1. Booking Amount & Payment
The advance/booking amount paid is non-refundable under any circumstances. The full trip cost must be paid before the commencement of the trip. Failure to clear pending payments may result in cancellation of the booking without any refund.
2. Valid Government ID
All travelers must carry a valid Government-issued photo ID. IDs will be verified before boarding, and boarding may be denied if a valid ID is not produced.
3. Booking Transfer
Transfer of bookings to another person is strictly not permitted. Only the traveler(s) whose name(s) are mentioned at the time of booking confirmation will be allowed to travel.
4. Unused Inclusions
No refund or compensation will be provided for any service, meal, sightseeing, transportation, accommodation, or other inclusion that is not availed by the traveler for any reason.
5. Luggage & Personal Belongings
Travelers are solely responsible for their luggage, valuables, and personal belongings throughout the trip. Weekend Escapes Holidays & Events shall not be responsible for loss, theft, or damage to any personal belongings.
6. Reporting & Departure Time
Departure timings are fixed. Travelers must report at the designated pickup point at least 30 minutes before the scheduled departure time and remain in communication with the Trip Coordinator.
7. AC & Transportation in Hilly Areas
Air conditioning may be switched off while traveling in hilly areas. The driver may also switch off the AC whenever required, considering road conditions, vehicle performance, weather, safety, and passenger comfort.
8. Trekking & Adventure Activities
Trekking and adventure activities inherently involve risks, including but not limited to injury, altitude sickness, fatigue, adverse weather, difficult terrain, and other unforeseen circumstances. By participating, travelers acknowledge these risks and agree to follow all safety instructions and guidance provided by the Trip Coordinator, guides, drivers, or local authorities.
9. Changes to Itinerary
Weekend Escapes reserves the right to modify the itinerary, route, sightseeing, transportation, or activities due to weather conditions, roadblocks, landslides, local regulations, government restrictions, safety concerns, or other unforeseen circumstances. Wherever reasonably possible, alternatives of a similar standard will be arranged and travelers will be informed accordingly.
10. Drinking & Smoking
Consumption of alcohol and smoking are strictly prohibited during the journey/transportation for the health, safety, and comfort of fellow travelers. Any violation may result in removal from the trip without refund.
11. Misconduct & Indiscipline
Any form of misconduct, abusive behavior, harassment, violence, damage to property, or indiscipline will not be tolerated. Weekend Escapes is a travel community committed to providing a safe, respectful, and enjoyable experience for everyone. Serious violations may result in immediate termination of the trip for the concerned traveler without refund.
12. Unforeseen Circumstances / Force Majeure
Weekend Escapes shall not be held responsible for delays, cancellations, route changes, or alterations caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, landslides, heavy snowfall, extreme weather, accidents, vehicle breakdowns, road closures, political disturbances, strikes, government restrictions, or other unforeseen events. Any additional expenses arising from such circumstances may be payable by the traveler.
13. Travel Insurance
Weekend Escapes does not provide travel insurance unless specifically mentioned as part of the package. Travelers are advised to obtain appropriate travel insurance covering medical emergencies, accidents, personal belongings, cancellations, and other travel-related risks.
14. Alternative Travel Arrangements
Where necessary, Weekend Escapes may transfer or arrange a booking through another trusted/like-minded travel partner to ensure continuity of the trip and comparable services and experience.
15. Accommodation Changes
In case of unforeseen circumstances, operational issues, or unavailability, Weekend Escapes reserves the right to change the accommodation. Any alternative property will be of a similar category or better, subject to availability.
16. Acceptance of Terms
By making the booking/payment, the traveler confirms that they have read, understood, and accepted these Terms & Conditions and agree to comply with the instructions of Weekend Escapes, its Trip Coordinators, drivers, guides, hotels, and local authorities throughout the trip.
